Recently rediscovered what once was legitimately one of my favorite songs: "24" by Jem. If you don't know what this song is, it's been used in a lot of trailers for the epic factor that actually has for some reason. The one's I can remember are "Ultraviolet" (because that came out while I was still listing this song as a favorite) and TNTs promos for their reruns of "Without a Trace".. There are more though.
Listen to it, for real. Even though it's a sad song, the music is epic (Violin riff of awesome blahblahblah).
What I'm wondering is why I can't find any good fandom videos to this song ;_;. It's sufficently epic, and also I can think off of the top of my head a lot of characters for whom the music makes sense for (namely any character that knows they're going to die before they do, or thinks they are going to die). C'mon people! Give me a Bones buried in the car flashing back video. Give me a Dollhouse video (since each of the active's different personas are essentially doomed). Give me a Heroes video, several characters would work. Hell give me some freakin' Doctor Who action on this one! ANYTHING. Hell, I'll even bust out the old fandoms and say that Buffy and Angel are up for this one too!
C'mon fandom, I don't have the proper skills or software to do this!
This isn't like when I wanted a Sylar or Dexter video to "If I Was a Serial Killer" by ICP, this song is MUCH less silly and much less offensive.
You have failed me internet.
BTW: If anyone from one of my comms stumbles upon this and makes me a vid. I will reward with iconage or possibly ficcage (give me a prompt if you want ficcage)
Challenge in clearer format:
Make a video to "24" by Jem in any of these fandoms:
Bones (Brownie points if you include some Booth/Brennan)
Buffy or Angel
Firefly
Doctor Who or Torchwood (Brownie points for Jack or 9)
Dexter
Heroes
Repo!
Dollhouse
